Onur Dokuzoğlu is an architect trained in Nicosia who has carried his career into practice in Northern Cyprus. He leads the Development arm of Dokuzoğlu Properties.

He personally undertakes the architectural design, material selection and site supervision of the Dokuzoğlu 4 and 5 projects, deciding the plan, light and detail of every unit one by one.

His way of working focuses on a limited number of apartments — keeping the scale small as a discipline to protect design and build quality. The same rigour applies to independent architectural work.

Fewer units. More discipline.

The architectural character of Dokuzoğlu Properties deliberately departs from mega-resort scales and decorative luxury. A limited number of units means the architect decides the plan, light and material of each one individually.

It is the lifespan of the project, not the budget, that drives material and detail choices. This discipline works in the buyer's favour as post-handover comfort and long-term value.

The approach is not limited to Dokuzoğlu projects: the same care for proportion, material and light applies to independent architectural work. Studio prefers to take on a small number of projects in depth.
